There are some books we may not be able to license for translation. Please contact us first if there is a specific book you are interested in.
Q Is it possible to publish e-book versions?
We normally license both print and e-book versions together.
Q Can translations be published by an individual?
Due to requirements involving copyright management, submittal of tax documents and so on, we work only with publishers, copyright agents and other corporate clients.
Q How is a transaction carried out?
We normally go through a copyright agent to enter into a copyright agreement. If you are a copyright agent, we can work with you directly. If you are a publisher, we may ask to introduce you to a copyright agent.
Q Do you handle publishing of translations into Japanese of books from outside Japan?
Yes, we do publish translations into Japanese of foreign publications. Please feel free to contact us if there is a copyright you are interested in suggesting to us.
